Dr. John H. Joseph is a Facial Plastic Surgeon who has a prominent practice in Encino, CA and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He specializes in Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery, but is also involved in congenital and traumatic facial reconstructive cases.

Dr. Joseph received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois. His medical school training and General Surgery internship were obtained from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago. He took his residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the top-ranked University of Iowa Hospitals. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, scoring in the top 3% nationally.

He completed a one-year Fellowship with Dr. Frank Kramer in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and continued to assist in that office until starting his own practice in Encino. Dr. Joseph is Board Certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Joseph has published many research papers, and presented at numerous national medical events. He was awarded the UCLA Teaching Award twice by its faculty, staff, and residents, including the first year he served as an Attending Physician.

He was listed by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the Top Plastic Surgeons in Los Angeles, and by Harper’s Bazaar and “W” Magazines as one of the Leading Surgeons in the United States.

In addition to being interviewed for several magazine and newspaper articles, such as Newsweek and Los Angeles magazine, he has been featured on NBC Nightly News, CBS News, and Good Morning America, and Extra.

Dr. Joseph is founder and director of The Clinical Testing Center of Encino. This Center is dedicated solely to conducting FDA Clinical Trials for various biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in the esthetic field.
